Wet Basement Repairs

Over the years, we have spent a lot of time trying to understand how water enters basements and how to prevent them from leaking again. We have tried various methods and with years of trials and tribulations, we have taken the best out of each method and combined them into one great method we call “Our Guaranteed Method”.

This method is known as the guaranteed method, because you will never again have a basement flood. Our method is the ultimate waterproofing for basements! This allows you to address all of your problems at once. While some contractors will solely promote repairs to be done from the inside, we strongly recommend the exterior basement waterproofing approach.

Exterior methods are used to repair foundation cracks and change weeping tiles. Tremco waterproofing, Blueskin membrane, Tremco waterproofing, Tremco waterproofing, Tremco waterproofing, Tremco waterproofing, Tremco waterproofing, and Delta membrane will also be used. Once you have applied the correct foundation waterproofing and imported new backfill (if required) you can then adjust the entire landscaping so that water runs away from your house.

This is also a great time to repair the foundation’s parging! With a new weeping tile in place, I can assure you that you will be getting a lot more water in your sump pump system so make sure your sump pump is operating properly and consider the installation of either a battery backup sump pump or a water backup sump pump in the event the main pump fails or the power goes out.

Septic Systems

This industry has long been an interest of mine. I enjoy the science behind wastewater treatment. It also fits in nicely with my wet-room philosophies in that you must understand water and its behavior to effectively get rid it.

Over the years we have come to understand all the various types of septic systems in use, from the common trench bed systems and filter bed systems to the more advanced tertiary systems such as Ecoflo, Bionest, EnviroSeptic and Eljen and for the most sensitive areas, we’ll design Phosphorus removal septic systems.

Understanding all these systems will not only allow us to effectively service them but it also gives us more options when designing a system to best suit your environment.

In addition to system designing, we take pride in all your other septic system needs: septic tank pumping, septic tank cleaning, septic tank filter cleaning, sewage pump and effluent pump maintenance, distribution box adjustments (if equipped) as well as complete system inspections, if you are wondering how well the system is performing.

Our septic system designs and repairs we also offer septic system installations. We can install either concrete or plastic septic tanks if you require a new one. Although I recommend concrete tanks, sometimes you need a plastic tank. When that happens, we use the toughest tanks in the industry, Roth!

Our installations are always installed according to the Ontario Building Code and often we surpass their requirements. We know what it takes for a system to last many years. This is because we have seen many systems fail over the years.
